Scoring: MP

By far the best hand I've ever seen, let alone picked up myself. Can anyone beat this?

Pard opened 2H so we were in 7NT pretty quickly. One table went (2D weak) 2H (3D) 7NT, and another table played in 6♠!

Yes, but in a midnight game when our team arrived late and teenage friends-opponents were already there. Strangely, 7NT XX went down several. LOL

But the best hand I ever saw was very early in my playing days - even before I attended my first club game. I started playing in high school, and in a cut around game within the first month that I was playing, a hand shuffled deal produced this hand:

This was not set up. The person who held this hand said "OMG! 7NT!" Not the most sophisticated auction of all time, but it was effective. Every hand at the table was 4333, and the hearts split. His partner, by the way, had the single worst hand I have ever seen - 3334 without as much as a 10! But that was good enough.

Not quite as good, but one of my favorites. Years ago, in D.C., I was dealt something like 8 solid spades, the heart Ace, the club A-K, and two small diamonds. Being youthful and creative, I decided to open 1♦. This was passed out. I managed to take six tricks for -50. The par result was 6♠-1 for -50.

After I opened 1♥, partner bid 2NT, Jacoby. Never had a hand where 3 key cards were irrelevant after one round of bidding (even if missing the K♥, it drops)!

I remember arriving at my father's class, when a hand was being played, a lady had 33 HCP in hand, her lowest card was ♣9, and not that it was a weak card because it was covered by ♣AKQJ, the hand was if I recall correctly:

Partner had ♦Q but obviously she had no way to find out and played 6NT. I was asking myself why would dad predeal such a hand for a class. Moments later I found it was not predealt!

I recall having ♠ AKQJx, ♥ void, ♦x, ♣ AKJTxxx playing with a pickup with no agreements (a few years ago when I had just found BBO). This is interesting only because my RHO opened 1NT. Hmmm...bid what you think you might make..so 6♣ it was. This got doubled as expected.

PD was broke, except his 10 of ♠ gave me the entry I needed to hook opener's Qxx in ♣ to make. I have to admit that this is the only time I've overcalled a strong NT opening at the 6 level.

The other one I enjoyed was when partner opened a Strong Club (16+) and I held a 25 point hand... I bid 7NT, and claimed before the opening lead .

I had one of these not so long ago, I opened 2♣ and partner showed 2 aces and queen of trumps, my only 3 losers.

Sounds like the kind of hand I have in my bridge dreams (noghtmares), whatever I lead, dummy will show a stupid ♣5, wich I also have in my hand, and the deal will be cancelled.
