What seat? I bid 3N if partner hasn't passed yet and pass if he has already passed. Partner and I open most 11 counts so we are only worried about missing game if he has 10 pts or a good 9 and will get too high, vulnerable if he has less than that IMO.

Yeah, pass. If game is on, there is a good chance that p will reopen. Of course we may get stolen from, but 3NT or double are too dangerous.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

I'll pass, though I would bid 3NT with some 15 counts. I can't even put my finger on it since there are some good aspects to this hand, but this one just doesn't feel right to me.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Pass. Sure its close, but this is a pretty ugly 15 and a heart duck on most layouts is enough to get 3N down 3.

The bit about the hand where you can't duck the first round of hearts is nasty.

Agree with Frances, switch the majors and I'd (barely) overcall 3NT.
Kind regards,
Harald
