Depression may be a legitimate reason - I won' t call it an excuse - but "late filing syndrome" is a crock.

This represents, as I see it, a frequent error: If you give a problem a name, it then becomes an excuse.
I fall short in many ways. I try to do better. I don't see that announcing that I have Falling Short Disorder as being useful. I also have Forgetting to Draw the Last Trump Disorder and Overbidding Disorder.
