Sadly I found the post after the hand was revealed, but I still want to defend my 2♣ decision, nobody liked to post about.

To bid 2NT you need to stop both their suits, and you don´t, not the same goes to 1NT, but there you seem to stop their legitimate suit, wich is diamonds after this sequence, not ♣.

Having range for many direct support bids, I intend 2♣ to be strong with ♣ control for NT, 10+ (love my ♥holding ), oh well if he thinks I have support after all, my 2 small ♠ may be enough after all.
