This sounds cute but I'm a little worried about security, especially the side note about people who have added themselves to the map. I generally consider myself a non-paranoid person, but the mere act of using a female nickname exposes urself to annoying approaches from desperate men browsing an internet forum (haven't had issues on BBF, though, lol) or the white pages. Also, some people may accidentally advertise that they are suitable burglary victims.

Of course it's your own choice to volunteer information subject to abuse, but some will do it, and if they then regret, moving to a different neighborhood is more of a trouble than changing an internet nick or a phone number.
