Hi
I was booted of the table once because the host got a bad board, because of my play and another time the host booted me when I was playing against him and I made a mistake. I find it strange that the host has the total control of the table in these situations. Would it be a good idea that if the table is occupied by 4 players 3 players have to agree with the removal and if only 3 players are present 2 have to ask for the removal of the other player?

Hosts abusing this get a (few days long) ban from Main Bridge Club.

I have the suspicion that most players are not aware of this, and when they are banned they don't know why (unless they got a message about that). Same for bailing: still a lot of people leave in the middle of a hand. I don't think many read the site rules, not to mention that a lot of players do not even speak english.

I made that point the other day in a different thread. Would it not be a good idea to explain why and how you get banned by making a note in the lobby news, alternatively link to a page where one can read about it?

I got no reply then; maybe I will get one now.
