No, it's not currently possible in BBO, although it has been requested before.

Possible but not certain: that shows in four colours using chrome on Windows but in two colours using Samsung internet on Android.

seems unlikely it isn't possible, You can make these colours elsewhere surely cards could be made 4 colours.
of course I have no idea how difficult it would be.

Of course it's technically possible. Funbridge does it, BTW.

This seems not to be the first time someone ask the question.
Is there a way to contact programmers to suggest it ?

This is the way :-)
But they don't seem interested.

If BBO does implement it, please make it user configurable, as some people dislike the 4 colours or find they don't resolve their problems of sight and/or display. The ideal would be able to choose colour for each suit on a WYSIWYG basis.

I didn't mean it's impossible for us to add it, I meant it's not possible for users enable it since we haven't done it.

We try to avoid lots of complicated options, we already had that in the old Windows version (the settings dialog had dozens of settings in at least a half dozen tabs). So if we do this, it's likely to just be two-colors/four-colors, with pre-determined colors. Anything more than that is overkill.

Do you think the forum posts aren't seen by the programmers? Fred frequently replies here, he's the main programmer.

I don't see BBO's aversion to lots of complicated options. Most users won't change any options so they will have no idea you have so many options. You can bury most of the options in advanced tabs that the more curious users probably won't ever bother to look at. Calling tabs advanced will keep many from even clicking on them (as well as changing them) B-) That leaves those who have serious concerns about a particular feature who will be able to customize their screens.

I can see them not wanting unnecessary work, though. This is an issue I don't care two hoots about myself, there are lots of important known problems they could fix instead. But it has been raised in the past with people saying they had real problems distinguishing certain colours, so I'm worried that adding 4-colours might just be extra work without solving that problem.

As an aside, I find grey clubs cards tiring on the eyes when playing with paper cards, but not when playing online - either the colour is darker or there is less glare from the white background I guess.

Why can I not have Red cards for Diamonds and Hearts. Using Windows 10 on a laptop?

My wife has vision issues, and often mixes up hearts and diamonds.

Allowing different colors for each suit would help her (and others) immensely.

Please make this option a priority.

+1 for the 2/4 color option in bbo. Ironic that it's supported in this forum Posted Image

I agree with Allen. Please make 4 colours a priority. Accessibility is very important for bridge given the demographic that plays it. I see pretty well but I often get hearts and diamonds mixed up even using the hand diagram option.

The ACBL and other bridge federations should be paying attention to this request. The longer that we can keep our players the better...

One of our best bridge players is 96 and the only ability that’s failing him is right. If making suits different colours is too complicated, how about a light shading on cards so he and others can distinguish between the two red suits and the two black suits?

SIGHT (not right). He can’t play anymore with us because nothing else has worked for him including what he calls his Darth Vader glasses

Your player could try 'Hand diagram' view, which at least makes it obvious which suit is which in your own hand.

PS: you can edit (with a good reason) your own post, so no need to post a separate correction. You can also delete unnecessary posts, like the two corrections above.
